BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southern Athletic Association announced its 2018 Fall Academic Honor Roll and Birmingham-Southern Athletics had 82 student-athletes recognized. To earn the honor, student-athletes must have a 3.25 grade point average or higher at the end of the semester.
BSC had the second most recognized of schools in the SAA who do not participate in field hockey. Football led the fall sports with 31 student-athletes represented on the honor roll. But women's volleyball had the highest percentage of its roster recognized at 92 percent. Women's soccer was right behind them at 80 percent, respectively.
Women's cross country held the highest team GPA at 3.70. Volleyball finished with a 3.55 team average, and women's soccer earned a 3.5. Below is full list of the honorees.
